These terms govern your use of Gather, the community app for Christ Church Boerne. By using the app, you agree to them.
Who can use Gather
Gather is intended for members and friends of Christ Church Boerne. You’re responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity under your account. If you’re under 18, use the app under the oversight of a parent or guardian.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Gather to:
- Post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, or obscene.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
- Share others’ private information without permission.
- Disrupt, misuse, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Use the app for commercial solicitation or spam.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Church administrators may remove content or accounts that violate these terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you allow the app to display and share it with the members you’ve shared it with so the community features can work. Please post only content you have the right to share.
Reporting and moderation
You can report a message, a prayer request or another member from inside the app. On a message, open the … menu and choose Report; on a member, open their page in the Church Directory. Reports go to the church leaders, who aim to review them within a day and may remove content or suspend an account. The person you report is not told who reported them.
You can also block another member from their page in the Church Directory. You will stop seeing their messages, and they will not be able to message or call you. They are not told, and neither are the church leaders. You can undo this at any time from Profile → Blocked.

Gather is provided “as is” for the church community, without warranties of any kind. We aren’t liable for damages arising from your use of the app to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Changes
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
